A retreat of contemporary and unique design, Vumbura Plains comprises two separate camps, with 2 rooms to accommodate families. Each camp has magnificent vistas across the Okavango Delta, while a deck with comfortable cushions protrudes into the floodplain, either for star-gazing or as a convivial camp fire setting. Each large, luxurious room has its own lounge area, open on three sides for that iconic view of the floodplains, a private plunge pool and 'sala' – a place from which to watch the passing parade of wildlife or indulge in a soothing massage.

At Abu Camp, immerse yourself in the majestic world of the African elephant and to see the African bush and its wildlife through the eyes of the elephants – by joining the Abu herd. The strong emotional bond that is formed with the herd is both humbling and inspiring and at the same time whilst you gain an understanding of elephant conservation – the premise on which Abu Camp is based. Abu Camp is in a pristine copse of riverine forest overlooking a large lagoon. Soak it all up from outdoor copper baths and a plunge pool sunk into the elevated teak deck from you stunning tented room.
