Experience the wonders of the Savute Channel
Savuti Camp is situated in the private Linyanti Concession along the Savute Channel, famous as a sporadic and unusual watercourse. Between 1980 and 2008 it stopped flowing altogether, creating a ribbon of grassland. Surprisingly, the Channel began to flow once more, becoming a deep, clear waterway harbouring hippo and aquatic life while wildlife had to adapt to a new source of water and all the opportunities and menaces it brought with it.

Seba Camp, blending beautifully into an ancient riverine forest of majestic hardwood trees, is situated in the diverse and productive Abu Concession. Overlooking a perennial lagoon with prolific birdlife and resident pods of hippo, the camp has beautiful elevated tents with private decks and magnificent vistas. The Camp has two family suites to accommodate groups of varying sizes and our ‘child friendly’ guides will ensure children enjoy fun-filled educational activities that combine fun with learning about wildlife and nature.
