Stretched along a narrow ribbon of land between towering mountains and a spectacular shoreline, Hermanus is surrounded by nature in her grandest style and also referred to as the Riviera of the South. Sitting on the edge of Walker Bay, this small coastal town offers a bewitching array of experiences: Whales and Great White Sharks, the most diverse Floral Kingdom in the world, mountain walks and pristine beaches, secluded forests, crashing surf, lagoons and a hidden valley so beautiful it’s named ‘Heaven and Earth.’ The beauty and magic of Hermanus has attracted many famous artists. The town has thus become home to a number of Galleries that house both local and international works.

Betties Bay, nestled between Pringle Bay and Kleinmond, winds its way along 13km of rocky coastline beneath the Kogelberg Mountains, is a sanctuary for penguins at Stony Point and is in the epicentre of the Cape Floral Kingdom.

They say that there is a land between heaven and earth where the mountains reach down to the sea and up to the sky – this is Hemel-en-Aarde or Heaven-and- Earth, known for its fine wines. Explore the land between heaven and earth on a safari-style vehicles. Hop from wine estate to cellar door tasting and comparing the wines characteristic to this region — like Pinot Noir and Chardonnay — as well as a wide variety of other cultivars. A uniquely South African experience!

Your 4 nights / 5 days will be filled with exploring, wining and dining with magical memories just waiting to be made.

“This was a lovely experience. Natalie and fam were fantastic hosts. Always willing to walk etc. with us. Could not wish for better hosts.”
