Whale Season Notes
The southern right whale season begins in June, with sightings increasing steadily through winter. August to October is considered peak whale season in Hermanus, offering some of the best land-based whale watching opportunities in the world.
You are also welcome to extend your stay in Cape Town after the tour at your own cost.
