Judy & Neville’s family safari (Australia) – Namibia
Thank you for your email and for arranging our first ever holiday through Namibia. We loved the country, so vast, unique with such diverse wildlife . We are certainly very happy that we included it in our travels to Africa. It was very special travelling together with Darrol and Felicity and sharing such wonderful memories. All the best and thanks again. Kind regards, Judy and Neville

Judy’s group safari (SA) – Zambezi River, Zambia
Judy & friends spent a week at Baines on the Zambezi River in Zambia – here is what she had to say: “Hi All and especially Natalie,I thoroughly enjoyed our exciting week away, the only thing I could have done without is the little aeroplane and I wish I could have caught a fish, Unfortunately I hardly even had a nibble and I really did try hard, it was quite a challenge!! well done to all those who were successful. But all in all Baines was an amazing experience, Debbie and Ben were awesome and was wonderful to meet Tim and Sabine. To travel with such special friend was wonderful, thanks all. Well done for putting it altogether Natalie.
Kind Regards Judy

Mike & Di’s (UK) Safari – Zululand, South Africa
Natalie, Africa Memories Travel, you have ushered in new wind song to my soul with your amazing arrangements for our trip to Tembe, You could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. There is a place called Tembe in Northern Natal, where one is made to feel welcome with song by the staff upon arrival. At Tembe one is shown to one’s tented accommodation and settled in. My second home now; where the peace and quiet wash the dust of modern living away. In the morning, I watched the early sun make leafy patterns on the canvas, while my husband went on the early game drive with our very good guide Carlos. I walked slowly down the sandy path to the restaurant, around a corner, came across a large Nyala ram just a few metres away, A small herd grazed around our tent every day. Tom ensures everything runs on oiled wheels, the staff are all from the locality, and very proud of this little Eden. They are a good team, thoughtful and kind, even to the young lady who insisted upon walking ahead of us to our tent at night. We had three close encounters with elephant on our afternoon game drives, truly awesome. They were not worried about us at all. We also saw more wild life, from giraffe to impala and water buck, guinea fowl, monkeys, buffalo, even though now the bush is lush and green. If you want to find peace and quiet, and breathe in African bush air, have all your meals cooked, shower in the sun under a mahogany tree, do not delay, book a place there, where peace comes dropping slow on the wings of morning. Mike & Di.

Michelle & Family (SA) Self-Drive Safari – Namibia
Thank you so much for planning our Namibian trip. We had never been there and had no idea of the vastness of the area or how long it would take us to travel between places. Thank goodness we took your advice!  The landscape is so different from S.A, and even though it is very dry, it has it’s own charm. All 7 places we stayed were totally different and offered new experiences. Our favorites were Desert Horse Inn and Sossusvlei Lodge.  We loved the wild desert horses and the tour around Kolmanskop Ghost town in Luderitz. There’s also a little local pub in Luderitz called ‘Barrels’ that we can highly recommend.  We watched an awesome sunset from the Quivertree forest and sunrise on our Sossusvlei excursion to Dune 45 and Deadvlei. Our guide Gabriel was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly.  We will definitely be doing another trip to Namibia in the not too distant future.
Kind regards,  Michelle & famil

Richard & Jean’s Safari (UK) – Greater Kruger, South Africa
We are now back in very cold UK after a memorable trip to South Africa. We want to say thank you for all the help you gave in the planning of our trip. It certainly will be one we will remember for many years to come.
Your choices of the three Lodges/Bushcamps gave us a rich variety of accommodation and experiences. Ones which in all their different ways added to the enjoyment. We manged to see the Big Five on a number of occasions and were able at one Lodge to walk with the Cheetahs. The little touches at Nkorho and Ulmani which enabled us to celebrate and share our 40th Wedding Celebration with a wide range of nationalities was an added bonus. Thank you for your own greetings to us at Nkorho.  Your choice of E-Coaches to transport us worked well. we felt very exclusive as we had a driver with car to move us from one place to the other. the driver was excellent and I’ve reflected that on the forms I signed for his firm. We were fortunate that it we had the same person for all but one of the transfers. He is to be commended on his manners and skill in handling the car over the bumpy rough roads as we approached each place.
We are extremely grateful for the way in which you have handled the arrangements all the way through for us. We will be more than willing to recommend to others wishing to visit your country to use yourselves as Agents.
With every good wish,
Richard & Jean

Wilson’s Group Safari (SA) – Zululand, South Africa
Excellent service, with very good and accurate information in respect of routes and travel times. Many thanks once again for your input, which was 5 star!

Taffy’s Single Safari (USA)– Greater Kruger, South Africa
I had a wonderful trip to Kruger – really appreciate you making the recommendation on the lodge. The team there was awesome and so were the guests. Thanks again! Taffy

Digges Fishing Group (SA, Kenya, UK) – Zambia
Just a quick mail to officially thank you for the great excursion you put together for us to Sekoma River Lodge. The fishing was very hard but this was negated to some extent by the Lodge, the staff, the food and the setting. A truly magnificent and special place – I would go back in a heartbeat and I am sure that most, if not all, in our party of 22 would agree. Many thanks again for a well organised and arranged trip. Best regards, Chris

Greg & Robert’s Corporate Getaway with their wives (Texas, USA) – Greater Kruger
Thank you for your patience and excellent service. We will definitely consult you whenever we need a “safari” or something similar.

Alva and Aonghus (Ireland) – Eastern Cape, South Africa
Just back from the trip of a lifetime in South Africa! I want to thank you for all that you did for us.The safari was absolutely perfect from all aspects. Kariega Game Reserve exceeded all our expectations. From the chalet, food, wine and scenery to the game drives, animals and staff. Bungani our guide was excellent and ensured we had the best possible experience. The highlight was definitely being surrounded by a herd of 20 or more elephants on our last day. An amazing experience we will never forget! Thanks again for organising our trip and we will definitely be recommending Africamemoriestravel to all our friends! Alva and Aonghus

Gordon & Family (SA, UK) – Zululand, South Africa; Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe; Chobe National Park, Botswana
Thanks so much for organizing our trips to Tembe and Vic Falls. everything went off like clockwork and Jonathan and Briony had the time of their lives.

Gordon and family from overseas, who were visiting Africa for the first time, spent their time on safari with Africa Memories Travel to Tembe Elephant Park in Zululand, South Africa where they enjoyed game drives in this Big 5 wildlife reserve, and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, spending their time in the Falls walking with lion, riding elephants, visiting the Falls, visiting Chobe National Park, helicopter flip over the falls, traditional dinner, vulture feeding, sunset boat cruise and more.

Barry & Friends safari (USA, Ireland, UK)  – Cape, Greater Kruger, Mpumulanga, SA
I am no photographer, but Albert did let me use his camera one day. I will look at the results and send you a few of my better attempts later.

As for the arrangements, everything went like clockwork. It was a spectacular trip for all of us. The hotel in Cape Town, Mannabay, was amazing, one of the best hotels, possibly the best, that I have stayed at anywhere in the world. I have written a Trip Advisor report on Mannabay, and received a “thank you” from Mitch the General Manager. Tsala Treetops, which I knew from another trip, and Branson’s place in Franschoek also were very special. Oceans Eleven in Hermanus did not come up to the same standard as the other three, and I will give Hermanus a miss on my next trip to South Africa.

The safari park lodges were great. We were so lucky with what we saw in both Kirkmans and Ngala. Kirkmans was truly outstanding, as we saw a two day stand off between a female and male leopard, a wild dog, and a hyena over an impala carcass. We got a little choosy, with the wide variety of game that we witnessed in the first three days, but Ngala also was very special. The only disappointment was that we did not see a Cheetah.

I think that I speak for the whole group when I say that it was possibly the best trip ever. Certainly Lucy said it was. All the ladies fell in love with Cape Town, and will return. Actually, I am sure that we all will!!!

Des & Sue’s Self-drive & fly-in safari (SA) – Botswana
It has taken me a while but I have at last had a gap to email you regarding our Botswana Trip planned by Africa Memories Travel.

What an experience we had on our Botswana “safari”. Natalie from Africa Memories did a fantastic job finding suitable accommodation for my Husband who has a walking disability due to a stroke.

We drove from Durban to our first stop over at Kwa Nokeng which is perfectly placed as you cross the border. The rooms were adequate for our needs with a restaurant on the property, as well as a take away at the nearby garage.

We left the next morning for a 2 night stay at Elephant Sands just outside Nata on the Chobe road. What a fantastic setting with a water hole right in the middle of the chalets. Unfortunately for us there had been rain and therefore no wildlife at the waterhole. Our son had been there over Christmas and didn’t have to leave the comfort of his camp chairs to game view. The accommodation could be improved on but the location is wonderful. again there is a restaurant and they offer game drives. Or with a 4 x 4 you can self drive.

Our next stop was 3 nights at Chobe Bush Lodge a smaller and quieter lodge than it’s big sister Chobe river lodge, with excellent accommodation, staff and food. Due to the rains the river was the highest since 1999. Natalie had organised activities which included a river cruise, fishing experience (no fish but great relaxation) and Game drives. We got really up close and personal with a lion kill which was fantastic and if you love Elephants this is the place to go. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

We head out next towards Maun but due to the distance Natalie arranged a stop over at Planet Baobab. The accommodation looks like Gingerbread houses (or so I am told by my grandson) lovely and quiet with home cooked meal. There is the largest Baobab I have ever seen on the property. Friendly staff and a great pool area to cool down in.

The next morning we are off to Maun to catch the light aircraft, from Wilderness air, into the Delta, the highlight of our trip.

Our First camp in the Delta was Xigera, where we stayed 3 nights and if you love Leopards this is the place to be. Accommodation meals and staff are all 5 star. Our luxury tent was private and overlooked an open area. The game drives were amazing. The bird life in this area is fantastic. The highlights for us was the Makoro trip which was so peaceful, we had a wonderful sighting of a baby croc the just sat on
a raft of weeds for us to take photos. But the magic was the leopard sightings, during super a leopard walked over the bridge which is well Lite at night, onto the island, then about 15 minutes later she came back with a cub following behind her, to our surprise a second cub followed over on its own, the worst thing was no one had a camera…We spent hours tracking Leopard on our last day, which was really exciting as there were a few leopards in the area that kept crossing the road, but in the end we were rewarded with a female Leopard right next to the road and for a photo shoot she climbed on to a fallen tree and started calling for a mate.

Sadly we left Xigira and our next 3 nights were at Chitabe Camp. The lodge is fantastic and the staff went out of there way to accommodate my husband. the Safari Tents (again private with a view out over the grass lands) and food were excellent. On our drives we saw many big cats and a large pack of wild dog. We sat with a male lion on a kill and we found his brother some way off calling for him. The sound sent chills down your spine. We also saw Cheetahs sitting next to an ant hill posing for the cameras. A beautiful male Leopard walking along the road and wild dogs lying out in the open warming up in the early morning sun. A wonderful place to stay.

Sadly our time in the Delta came to an end and we flew out to Maun and headed towards home. Our last stopover in Botswana was Nata Lodge lovely accommodation and food. There is a great bird sanctuary nearby but sadly we arrived too late to go, on our list for the next trip.

The last stop was Palm Hotel just across the boarder which is a great stop over good food and rooms. then it was back home the next day to Durban.

This fantastic trip was well put together by Natalie of Africa Memories Travel she put so much thought into our needs and my husband’s disability. It is hard to find someone who listens to the client and gives them exactly what they need.

I highly recommend Africa Memories for your Southern African experience. Thank you so much Natalie you are a star.

Kind regards
Des and Sue

Julia & Dougs self-drive family safari (SA) – Botswana, Namibia’s Caprivi, Zimbabwe
Thank you for arranging such an awesome holiday for our family! We had the MOST amazing time experiencing all the wonderful things Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe have to offer.
We had SO many highlights: Kubu island on the Salt Pans, Deception Valley in the Kalahari, flying over the Okavango delta, Christmas at Drotskys on the Panhandle, catching bream & tiger fish, Caprivi strip, Chobe River, Victoria Falls, plentiful game viewing…I could go on forever.
Not only did we see amazing things but our experience of all aspects of travelling including many border crossings, shopping at local stores, finding our way, fitting in all our ‘bucket list’ items were made possible by your impeccable planning and preparation. We were never taken by surprise, we had everything we needed, we were well prepared for even the unforeseen things.
Thanks to you and the whole package – we as a family rank it as the best holiday ever! Definitely one to be repeated

We will be telling as many people as we can to use Africa Memories Travel – making memories the easiest way!

Leopard Mountain Lodge is a game lodge we will most definitely return to. The staff are welcoming, pleasant, knowledgeable and simply cannot do enough for you. The accommodation is immaculate and comfortable, The food was delicious and plentiful! The game drives were amazing where we saw 4 out of the Big 5 and our guide, Zee went out of his way to make our experience memorable. Thank-you, Africa Memories Travel for booking exactly what we wanted for a family getaway

Peter & Marietje Birthday safari (SA) – Botswana
Africa Memories Travel recently compiled a tailormade safari for Peter’s 70th birthday – what a privilege it is making peoples dreams come true and help memories being made. Their self-drive trip took them through the stark beauty of the Makgadigadi Salt Pans and sweeping grasslands of the National Park, flying them into the middle of the Okavango Delta to a romantic island camp where they enjoyed boat cruises and mokoro excursions and a very special 70th birthday celebration, through the Moremi Game Reserve with a knowledeable guide exploring the reserve on a network of roads which presented incredible game viewing and intersting sightings and finally into the Northern Border of the Central Kalahari Game. 2 weeks of magical experiences and incredible memories. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos. “Thanks Natalie, fantastic holiday, so well advised and organised. Highly recommend Africa Memories Travel! Peter & Marietje.

Laura’s family getaway (SA) – Drakensberg, South Africa
Laura and family spent 4 nights in a self-catering house in the Drakensberg booked through Africa Memories Travel “We had a wonderful time. The house was lovely, the monkeys were extremely persistent, the weather was killingly hot, but we really loved it & will take away really lovely memories. Thank you so much for organising everything, I’d recommend it in a heartbeat. Laura & family

Stephan’s Family Safari (SA) – Zululand, South Africa
“We had a great holiday. Exactly what we needed for our family. The boat ride was OUTSTANDING!” Stephan

Keith’s family Safari (SA) – Zululand, South Africa
Africa Memories Travel recently booked Keith and his family on a wonderful safari to Royal Thonga bordering Tembe Elephant Park in Zululand. Kurt, Debra’s son has beautifully described his memories of their family safari on Trip Advisor (photos thanks to Debra) “Our South African family of four (two adult children) had never gone on a proper safari holiday before, and through word-of-mouth, we were recommended Tembe Elephant Park to allow us to see the Big Five & many other wild animals in their natural habitat.
A common misconception about game parks is that one to stay in the park itself to get the full experience, but thankfully, our stay at Royal Thonga Safari Lodge proved that not to be the case. In fact, you get the best of both worlds staying at this private lodge, which has its own access gate to the Tembe park and a wonderfully dedicated team of staff who go above & beyond to personally ensure your stay is memorable.
Behind the scenes, chef & lodge owner Moyra leads the reception & kitchen staff, who prepare excellent 3-course meals that are served in the lodge’s central restaurant & bush bar, or pack equally-yummy breakfasts & lunches for guests to take out on game drives into Tembe. They are very adept at catering to guests’ individual needs, offering a vegetarian alternative to a spicy beef curry one night, and stocking a decent variety of beers & drinks in the bar.
The lodge itself hides underneath a thicket of indigenous trees & bushes, with a maze of wooden paths connecting the chalets (approx. 15 from my count). This means that you are thoroughly immersed in nature, and each chalet is a little private enclave in the bush. The two we stayed in were 1-bedroomed, with either 2 single beds or 1 double bed. Note that the lodge still relies on generator power (for now), which is switched off at various points in the day to conserve energy, so plan ahead for charging phones and batteries.
Whilst Royal Thonga does have a few animals within its borders (including the endangered suni antelope), seasoned game guide Greg leads daily expeditions into the Tembe park as the main attraction, and is capably supported by Dylan and Vezi. Their local expertise & undeniable passion for conservation is what truly blew us city folk away, and we are still in awe of what we managed to witness in the 2,5 days/3 nights we were there.
Greg is the kind of grizzled safari veteran you’d want at your side (or behind the wheel) when traversing this gigantic park, and we thoroughly enjoyed his edutaining anecdotes about not only the variety of animal life on offer (including lion, elephant, giraffe, antelopes, rhino, and wildebeest – to name a few), but also the plants and trees and how the local Tembe people interact with the area. The latter was pleasantly unexpected, and we emerged from our weekend with a much deeper appreciation of what we saw than if we had just had a guide book or a by-the-textbook sort-of guide.
This passion extends to the customer service on the game drives – Greg and his team would expertly assess a situation to maximize the immersion aspect, such as parking our Land Rover next to a bridge crossing for a few hours where 3 lionesses were on the prowl (we ended up seeing an attempted kill right next to the car, as well as droves of elephants coming for a drink from the nearby watering hole). The next morning, Vezi led us to the same crossing, where we immediately witnessed a kill from the same lionesses. So these guides exhibit true patience & respect for nature – and in a park like Tembe, you are bound to see almost every type of animal there at least once after a few game drives.
For a first-time safari group, we would’ve been happy seeing just any wild animals and relaxing at a lodge, but the skill and dedication of the Royal Thonga team provided an inspirational and fulfilling holiday, which wasn’t just the norm. It was something far better – it was captivating. ”

John & friends Goup Safari (SA) – Lower Zambezi, Zambia
Thanks for your role in co-ordinating this trip for us. We loved the experience of being on one of Africa’s finest rivers and the exposure to the Lower Zambezi National Park environment. The fishing was certainly challenging but we had lots of fun – some fishing sessions we had more action than others! Debbie and Ben make a good management team together with their respective strengths and they have a great, friendly team working with them in Baines. John” John Gatherer Photography is a brilliant photographer and has published many books which are a must see – see John’s facebook site for more info. Thank you John Gatherer for the beautiful photos and feedback – wonderful memories were certainly made on this safari!

Helen’s Annual Family & Friends Safari (SA) – Zululand, South Afria
Our experience at Leopard mountain, was out of this world. Nothing I have ever done can compare to this experience.
Everyone has the same reaction. They can’t stop talking about it.  My grandchildren, want to know when is the next game drive and want to talk to Alden, game ranger, again.  They are very interested in the bush and loved the experience. You also managed to organize the weather for us.  My heartfelt thanks to you, for all your efforts on my behalf. Constantly checking on details, informing us of all necessary information you require, and never once showing any exasperation, with tardy replies to your emails. You deserve a “gold star”. Helen

Louise’s Family Safari (Australia) – Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe; Botswana
Was amazing to see Victoria Falls today. Words cannot describe, photos don’t do this place justice. If you ever have the chance, you must come here! Thank you so much Natalie and thank you so much for all your effort so very proffesional and VERY much appreciated. We cannot wait to come back. Will be recommending you very highly. You don’t know how much of a surprise it was for me when we got to Maun airport and our boarding passes were taken care of, that meant so much to me. I miss my daily riverboat trips in Moremi, looked forward to that every day, but unfortunately back to the grind. Just loved every minute of it. Thanks again and talk soon Natalie

Piet & Al’s ‘Boy’s’ Safari (Ireland, SA) – Zimbabawe
My dear Natalie, Thank you so much for organizing our whole trip to Zimbabwe. Hwange National Park, the Milibizi Ferry  and especially Mana Pools which I would grade as an “extreme safari”.To walk with animals the way Stretch Ferreira conducts walk-abouts is just awesome. Every day, morning and aternoon is an adventure. Never a dull moment. And then of course is ‘story time’ around the supper table which in itself is an experience (and by the way, Stretch does the cooking himself on braai night). My highlights in Africa are definitely the Masai Mara migration and Mana Pools. I would not miss either of them as expensive as they are.” Piet

Bruce & Friends Group Safari (SA) – Zululand, South Africa
It was a fantastic experience. Everything was of the highest quality. Many thanks to all at LML for treating us so well. Kind regards Bruce

Rob & Belinda’s (Zimbabwe, SA) Group Safari – Namibia
Africa Memories was fantastic in  booking the Namibia trip for a group of 6. We had no hiccups and everything was spot on.

Picked up the Kombi at the airport outside Windhoek.

Namutoni Bush Chalets were fab and big you could have a shower under the stars if you so wished.  They are busy renovating the walkways.  It’s a very nice small camp.

Okaukuejo -The Premier WaterChalets were a highlight especially if you had the top room facing the Waterhole I lay in bed in the early hours watching the animals at the waterhole. Okaukeujo Camp is large and very busy. All meals are buffet and not bad considering so many tourists. One bit of advice pre book your dinner table in the afternoon.

Etosha was amazing and all said we could of spent more time as you suggested. Thank goodness for Natalie we added a day.

From Etosha we headed for Henties Bay. The country is so different. Our group do 6 said we should of stayed around Brandberg Mountains and Fingerklip for a night or 2. Had the most amazing late lunch at a Fish Takeaway in Henties Bay, Kabeljou and chips. Yummy

Swakupmund stayed at Brigadoon which is nicely situated to get around. Very comfortable,  staff are so helpful. Breakfast is served on your patios. For our crowd we sat together on one Patio. Must recommend the Jetty for dinner or lunch, at the end of the original old Jetty. You have the waves breaking all around you. There we could of spent an extra day as we also went to Walvis.

On to Sossousvlei. No one must miss stopping at Solitaire for their famous Apple Pie. We had to stop there again on our way back to Windhoek. A real time warp. We stayed at The Desert Homestead we felt it was too far to go to the Dunes and back and especially if you are doing the balloon ride. Would of preferred being closer to the Entrance.  It took us an hour from Desert Homestead to the Dunes. The balloon ride was a Wow and Eric the owner is quite a card. The champagne breakfast was also great.  It seemed to take us quite a while to get to Sossousvlei from Walvis. Stopping along the way to take photos as one minute you have Desert and the next you in Canyons and then on top of Mountains. Of course we had to stop at the Tropic of Capricorn as we always go through our Tropic of Capricorn between Polokwane and Makhado.

Our trip back to Windhoek was also very interesting the locals recommended  a road to take.  Very Picturesque.  Villa Violet was comfortable and friendly.  Coffee and cookies are on offer when you arrive and there is an Honesty Bar. Of course anyone who is in Windhoek has to go to Joes Bar.

Thanks Natalie for the most enjoyable holiday.  Everything ran so smoothly.  Each couple received a travel Pack at the airport with all the vouchers nicely put together for each placed we stayed at plus Map and information of each place we were staying at. ” Rob & Belinda

Lynne’s Safari (SA) – Zimbabwe
“I have attached some photos of our trip. As you will see it was magical and Zim is still beautiful. Mana Pools to me is the best place in the world, we had hyena sniffing around the tent, lions roaring, elephants waltzing through camp, it is still wild Africa which is what I love.

Carribea Bay room was nice, very comfortable and clean. It would have been nice to have a lake facing room but I didn’t request that so I can’t complain.

The Ferry was amazing, so relaxing and the sunset and sunrise was magical. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding from all the staff. They made a cake for one of the passengers who was celebrating her birthday which I thought was very thoughtful. I would recommend the Ferry to anyone as it is so much more relaxing than negotiating the roads and roadblocks in Zim. The swim in the middle of the lake was much appreciated as it was extremely hot.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge was outstanding, the rooms were stunning, the service was excellent ( especially from the the manager Johnathon). The hightlight for me was the view of the waterhole, every evening we watched big herds of buffalo and elephant come down to drink. The vulture restaurant was an added bonus as it meant we watched vultures by day and hyena by night. The price of food and drinks at both Carribea Bay and Vic Falls Safari Lodge at R40 for a beer and R250 for a steak hits our South African pockets very hard.

I would like to thank you personally for your excellent service and all the added information you provided us with, it enabled us to make sure we had everything necessary for Zim and I am happy to say we did not get fined once. I will recommend you to anyone going to Zim, and will definitely book through you in the future.
Keep in touch.” Lynne

Walter & Friends Group Safari (SA) – Zululand, South Africa
Thank you, we had a great time. Although I have seen elephants before in the wild , I had never had the opportunity to observe the behaviour of elephant herds or young naughty bulls at such close range. I am glad that we went for three nights as it takes quite a few drives to see as much as we did. We were fortunate to see just about everything, also a scene where lions wanted to drink with their cubs at the waterhole , only to be chased away by the elephants, the lions had to wait for a long time until they could risk to quench their thirst. We also observed and another guest in our vehicle recorded 43 different species of birds.
In summary, a great wildlife experience .The service was excellent , the ranger was very knowledgeable, the accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the food was also fine.
Well perhaps another time again.
Thank you for being so caring,
Best regards,
Walter

Don & Walt’s Safari (SA) – Zululand, South Africa

Jane’s Safari (SA) – Botswana
“Thank you for arranging my trip to Okavango. The trip was very efficiently organized and you went out of your way to organize my local flight . Photos cant bring alive the feel / experience of being somewhere so very very far from the madding crowed. For me the smell and sounds of the bush are equally as important as seeing the animals. The birds were my main interest. Sadly no one has sent them to Tourist College so they VERY seldom hang about to be photographed by an amateur! Still I found it an honour and major pleasure to be able to see them and hear them.

You were also wonderful trying to keep a jump ahead of my of my delayed return flight. Thank you. My favorite photo is of sunrise on my last morning. It would have suited my regret at leaving if it had been overcast but instead I choose to think that the sun wanted to wish me a very cheery Good by .Ta ever so …..” Jane

Mike & Aeran’s family safari – Zimbabwe, Botswana
“Hi Natalie,Thank you very much for making all our accommodation bookings, sightseeing trip bookings and other arrangements for us on our recent trip to the Victoria Falls, Chobe and Chundu Island. Everything was as planned and everything went off as planned. In addition, the general  information you provided on each location was excellent and very informative. Once again, many thanks for all your input, it certainly made our holiday that much more special and memorable, one of the nicest we have had in a long time. We plan on another African trip next year and will certainly be contacting you again. Have attached a few photographs of our trip (see facebook. Ed).” Mike & Aeran

Jane’s Safari (SA) – Botswana
“Thank you so very much for all you have done re. my trip.  It is reassuring to know how competent you are and how much trouble you have taken over my trip. I have done trips to UK and Athens but not an ‘exotic’ area like Botswana’s Okavango Delta” Jane

Pieter, Liz & Family  (SA)– Botswana, Zimbabwe Safari
“From the minute we contacted Natalie at Africa Memories Travel  we were blown away by her dedication to make this a superb holiday for us as a family.  They provided us with all the info we needed to travel by car to Botswana and Zimbabwe and the experience was great , even through others talked of difficult travels we did not experience this at all. Our trip was really one we will treasure as a family for years to come. We would really recommend staying at any of the lodges the Africa Memories Travel book. You have to experience Chobe it was the real highlight for us even though the Victoria falls was what I wanted to see.  Take the time to do the helicopter flip and elephant rides in Victoria Falls well worth the extra expense. Our overall experience was a great one and thank you to Natalie for making our dream holiday so special.” Pieter & Liz & Family

“Africa Memories’ service was great. They shopped around for the more affordable accommodation to meet our requirements and it was more than sufficient and the wildlife….. well, WILD!  Loved it. The information was simple and all documentation needed was provided for each location. We didn’t have any hassles!  They helped make the experience worth the while. Thank you.” Stephen, Chantal & family

Dionne’s Group Safari –(SA)  Zimbabwe
Many thanks for putting together a great and memorable trip . Having selected a with Stretch was a great plus . Doing another visit without his guiding would simply not be the same and he’s set the bench mark. Like it or not many friends have had no option but to listen about of our experience at Mana Pools. Once again many thanks on behalf of all of us. Dionne

Walt’s Group Safari (SA) – Botswana
“Our sincere thanks for your part in organising the Nata/Tuli Block leg of our wonderful trip.  Everything went like clock-work and there were no glitches at all.  The accommodation was both comfortable and in lovely surrounds.  Although there’s a sparsity of game animals in Tuli, the lodge certainly made up for it and our guide Simon had an excellent knowledge of the trees, plants and the “little Big 5″ (ant-lion, elephant shrew, rhino beetle, leopard tortoise and buffalo weevil) to keep everyone’s mind a-ticking!

Your directions to Tuli Safari Lodge were a great help as my GPS hasn’t been updated lately and “lost the route” when we got onto the new tar road before turning off to the lodge.  It saved us a long round-about route! I’ll most certainly be in contact when next we plan a journey and have recommended you to friends.” Walt.

Bill & Sue’s Group Safari (SA) – Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe
“Thank you so much for all your hard work in planning our holiday. It was a great adventure and we certainly saw and did things we never dreamed we would. There were obviously highlights and lowlights but as in most things you tend to remember the good parts as opposed to the not so good. We have many tales to tell and look forward to sharing those with you.” Bill & Sue.

Gail & Guy’s family safari (SA) – Namibia / Chobe River

Pieter & Charmaine’s Safari (SA) – Botswana, Namibia
“Charmaine and I wanted to say a VERY BIG thanks you for the trip you put together for us on our recent tour of Botswana and Namibia. It really was an unforgettable experience.  But what made the experience that much more spectacular was your planning of the trip, which must have taken some considerable effort and planning on your part.  We were “blown away” by the way you judged things to perfection for us.We would highly recommend other people to have their holidays to these parts of the world, planned by you.  We have already told all our friends to use you without hesitation. Thanks once again Natalie….you made us very happy.” Pieter

Thad’s Family Safari (USA) – Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe
“The trip was FANTASTIC!.. and perfect for our family.  We could not have asked for a better combination of experiences in the time we had!  Everyone one of us had a great time, including my Mom.  She was thrilled.I must say that I enjoyed meeting people, and seeing the cultures just as much as seeing the animals.  It was all good!” Thad & family.

Elizabeth’s Family Safari (SA) – Swaziland
“The central word of this company is “Memories” – Natalie arranged for my family of 5 to spend a night at a Game Reserve in Swaziland. We had a lovely time there and enjoyed the animals. Our accommodation was right at the waterhole, which was comfortable and clean. The waiters at the restaurant were very pleasant, and served us their speciality Burger with lots of chips and to top it all, it was candle lit. So from an ordinary meal, it turned out to be tasty memorable touch. Our car broke down on the way there and I needed some contact details of someone local, to get out of the sticky situation, not knowing where to find such a number, I looked at the itinerary to see if there was any chance that I could find some information there. Well I was pleasantly surprised that not only did Natalie compile wonderful information about the location, with it were all the details that I needed to get out of the situation. So to sum up this part of our trip, we had great memories, both on the road and in the bush. Natalie organized our trip superbly, on every level. We have great photos and a wonderful memory of our trip. You will not be disappointed if you book your holiday memories with Africa Memories Travel. Thank you Natalie and Africa Memories Travel for a job well done.” Elizabeth & family

Graham & Barbara (SA) – Tembe Elephant Park
“Thank you Natalie. A well organized trip well done. We were very impressed with the Tembe experience”

Arthur (SA) – Tembe Elephant Park
“Was great thank Natalie,
Tembe, was definitely the highlight for me thanks as the staff were always pleasant, and could not do enough to assist and make you feel welcome.
Also liked the setting of the Camp because of its unique “ Bush Camp “ layout. They also surprised me with a Cake at supper on my birthday which was during our stay at Tembe.
Not sure how they knew ( Unless I told you, and you mentioned to them ) however, was really a “ nice touch “ as they sang a few songs, and really made it a memorable occasion. Did not expect it at my age Ha Ha !!!!
Will definitely go back again sometime in the future”

Doug (SA) – Tembe Elephant Park

Julie and Jacques(SA) – Livingstone, Zambia                                                                                                         “Dear Natalie
Jacques and I had the most wonderful trip to Vic Falls and on the Chobe Princess. It was absolutely amazing and definitely so worth the trip. I got to tick off my bucket list of Vic Falls and saw it from the best angle possible….. the microlight!! Thank you so much for your brilliant organizational skills….I didn’t realize how brilliant you were!
Our trip was organized brilliantly – the pick up from the airport, the road and boat transfers, the activity pick-ups were on time and so well organized by the friendliest staff. Everything went so smoothly. We loved our time at Vic Falls especially the microlight flight that you said we just had to do even though I am scared of heights. I loved every second! THANKS! We also thoroughly enjoyed the Chobe Princess. The game viewing was magnificent and the staff and the food were top-class. We had a wonderful short break and you whet our appetite for more travel in Africa. 10/10 !!”
